When someone dies
Understanding Grief
These two short films by Child Bereavement UK help us to understand grief, how we feel when someone dies, and how to manage it.
Coping with loss
Young people talk about their experience of the death of a loved one and how different people in their family responded in their own ways. There is no right or wrong way to experience loss but it is helpful to find someone you can talk to. In Edinburgh many schools run Seasons for Growth which is a supportive group for people that have experienced loss either through a death or other life events. If this sounds like it could be helpful speak to an adult you trust in school.
