Awards made in 2024/25

Round 1

  • Edinburgh Spiders (Scotland): Awarded £1500 to bring people together to take part in weaving of camouflage nets. 
  • Pilton Youth and Children's Project (PYCP): Awarded £2400 to support summer activities. 
  • North Edinburgh Arts: £2214 to offer free non-contact boxing classes. 
  • Stepping Stones North Edinburgh: Awarded £2000 to support activity and food costs of summer 'Schools Out' outings. 
  • Volunteering Matters: Awarded £685 to support families by providing tickets for experiences for children such as Edinburgh Zoo and Camera Obscura. 

Round 2

  • Friends of Granton Castle Walled Garden: Awarded £590 to purchase a lawn mower to manage grass across the garden and orchard. 
  • Ama-zing Harmonies: Awarded £4218 to hold inter-generational choir meetings, music tuition and food sharing sessions. 
  • Edinburgh Agroecology Cooperative CIC: Awarded £2263 to create a kit store with clothing, accessibility and gardening items. 
  • Granton Parish Church: Awarded £1200 to provide weaving classes. 
  • Royston Wardieburn Community Centre: Awarded £1040 to print and design the booklet of a History Group and to supply refreshments for launch event. 
  • Pilton Equalities Project: Awarded £766 to purchase resources for activities for clients. 
  • Friends of Wardie Playing Fields: Awarded £2736 to install signage including noticeboard and a bench to enable enjoyment of a wildlife garden.
