The Community Grants Fund (CGF) is a small grants scheme provided by the Council. Grants of up to £5,000 can be awarded to constituted groups for local community activity.

The deadline for the next funding round is midnight on Wednesday 30th April 2025.

Applicant information sessions
We will be running online applicant information sessions, where you can find out more about the CGF, including how funding decisions are made and tips for your application.
We will be offering several information sessions to try and accommodate varying schedules. If you plan to attend a session, please register via the appropriate link below.

Join a funding panel for the Community Grants Fund in 2025/26
If you are a member of a local organisation with a passion for shaping the future of your community, we want to hear from you. Our community-led funding panels use their local knowledge to make recommendations about which organisations should receive funding, in line with local needs and priorities. We are looking for a diverse range of individuals who reflect the range of needs and experiences in their community.

Panel membership will be finalised in April 2025, so please complete the form by the end of March to ensure you are included in all relevant communications.
