Awards made in 2024/25

Round 1

  • Edinburgh Rays Baseball Club: Awarded £1077.16 to purchase equipment for club members. 
  • The Salisbury Centre SCIO: Awarded £2000 to modernise the centre’s website and advertising. 
  • Beetroots Collective CIC: Awarded £4875 to support art workshops for new Scots on the theme of Scottish folklore. 
  • Pregnancy & Parents Centre: Awarded £2600 to install buggy storage and second-hand prams. 
  • Preston Street Primary School Parent Council: Awarded £1540 to purchase materials and equipment for community events. 
  • Cameron House Community Education Centre Management Committee: Awarded £5,000 to support summer programme of activities 
  • Community Church Edinburgh: Awarded £2879 to deliver a suicide prevention course. 
  • Canongate Youth: Awarded £3056 to support summer programme for children and young people. 
  • Southside Community Centre Association SCIO: Awarded £3083 to support a women's group and summer camp programme for children and young people 
  • Bridgend Farmhouse: Awarded £1210 to support cost-of-living advice sessions and weekly free healthy meals for families. 

Round 2

  • Greyfriars Charteris Centre: Awarded £1661 for a festive lunch to reduce social isolation around the festive period. 
  • Whitehouse and Grange Bowling Club: Awarded £850 to install ramps to improve accessibility for older people and those with impaired mobility. 
  • Edinburgh Central Mosque: Awarded £4027.85 for improvements to the garden area to make it low maintenance for volunteers and more inviting for regular attendees and the wider community.
