Temporary Closure of Tower Street / Constitution Street junction for four weeks
The junction of Tower Street / Constitution Street will close for 4 weeks from 2 March 2020 to allow utility works to be undertaken.
To facilitate the works being undertaken on the Trams to Newhaven project, we will be temporarily closing access to Tower Street Industrial Estate and Daltons Scrap Yard from
Tower Street at its junction with Constitution Street.
Access will be maintained via Ocean Drive with 2-way temporary traffic lights situated on Ocean Way and Constitution Street.
Access to Tower Street will be maintained via The Shore.
Works will start on 28 February 2020 for approximately 4 weeks with traffic diversion routes clearly signposted throughout the works.You can download details of the traffic management plans.
