Find out more about Logan Malloch in our small business spotlight article.

Tell us a bit about your business?

Logan Malloch is a small independent retail business, run by Philip Logan and husband Brian Malloch, selling prints, plants, books and local makers goods.

Logan Malloch opened its doors in April 2019 and despite lockdowns and a couple other hic-up's a long the way, have developed our name as the place to go for gift ideas for loved ones or for yourself.

What makes your business unique?

Our shop is located at 13 Leith Walk, we brought back our space to the historic listed buildings original splendour, with its high ceilings, original fractures and large windows.

We built all our own shop fittings ourself and change the shop as it grows and develops into its space.

Describe your typical working day.

We have sourced some of the best prints, plants, books and local makers goods from Edinburgh and Scotland.

We have set up a relaxed, friendly retail space, which has room for prams, wheelchairs and space for all.

We interact with social media on Instagram @LOGAN_MALLOCH and Facebook @loganmalloch.

Why Leith?

Leith has such an exciting diversity to it in its art, history and culture, as well as its retail options.

We looked at many locations but Leith was where we wanted to start our business, due to the location and opportunitys Leith held for us, its strong independent shop community and the people of Leith as a whole.

Name three fellow Leith businesses you love to visit.

We love Destined for Home on Constitution Street, a friendly gift shop as well.

We also love Black and White Publishing, an independent book publisher.

And Pecko Tea our new neighbours with their own blended tea made inhouse.
