Notification of Lorne Street Road Closure for Attenuation Pipes Installation Works
More details of the Lorne Street road closure.
Following on from the site investigation works carried out in March we will be starting the installation of the new attenuation pipes which will support surface water drainage in the local area.
What happens now?
To facilitate these works Lorne Street will be closing from Leith Walk to the junction of Lorne Place. Access to Lorne Place, Lorne Square and South Lorne Place will be via Easter Road. Pedestrian access will be maintained however parking will be suspended for the duration of the closure.

No parking cones will be in place prior to the closure with a tow away scheme in operation for any parked cars.
When are we doing it?
Works will commence on Monday 28 June 2021 for approximately seven weeks.
