Small Business Spotlight: Kadampa Meditation Centre

Kadampa Meditation Centre staff

Find out more about Kadampa Meditation Centre in our small business spotlight article.

Tell us a bit about your business?

We are Kadampa Meditation Centre Edinburgh, a Buddhist charity based at 172 Leith Walk, offering both in person and online meditation classes to all the people of Edinburgh. Meditation helps us to make the world a more peaceful and less confusing place. Everyone needs meditation, especially in these difficult times. When things go wrong in our lives and we encounter difficult situations we tend to regard the situation itself as our problem but in reality whatever problems we experience come from the side of the mind. If we really want to be free from problems we need to learn to control the mind through meditation. We are dedicated to making the world a more peaceful place through helping ourselves and others find true peace and happiness.

What makes your business unique?

Probably the only place in Edinburgh where you can receive clear, scientific advice on how to be happy all the time and find solutions to everyday problems of stress, anxiety and depression. Here you will find something for everyone to enable us all to put meaning into our lives. Whatever race, religion, walk of life, you are welcome here to sit and enjoy real peace of mind.
