Transport Convener Councillor Lesley Macinnes said: “Today [Mon 19 March) is the first day in our to find out what people make of the plans we’ve developed if a decision is taken later this year to take trams down to Newhaven. We want to hear feedback on all aspects of the plans, from how traffic might be managed and how we’d support local businesses during construction to what the road layout could look like along the route. As with the about proposed improvements to the existing tram route which we launched last Wednesday [14 March], we’re listening very carefully. We need to hear from as many people as possible to help us get this right, so make sure you have your say.
