Planning pre-application customer service guide

Advice

The customer will receive an advice letter from the Council (other than in the case of pre-position discussions). This will be issued electronically in line with the timescales set out.

The advice letter will be reviewed and signed by the relevant team manager and will contain at minimum

  • an overall view on the development proposals and key issues
  • specialist supporting information required to be submitted with the application
  • an indication of likely developer contribution areas required from the development.
