Drumbrae Library will be closed for two mornings, on Thursday 27 February and Thursday 6 March 2025 for essential staff training. The library will open at 1.30pm on these days.
Regular activities for children and young people
Monday
6 to 7pm, Kids Group, for ages P5 to P7, weekly
Tuesday
4 to 5pm, Junior Creative Writing, for ages P5+, fortnightly
Wednesday
6 to 7pm, The Teen Group, for ages S1 to S5, weekly
Friday
2pm, Funky Craft, for ages 5+, fortnightly
2pm, Game Time, for ages 8+, fortnightly
Saturday
2pm, Lego Time ages 5+, fortnightly
2pm, Chatterbooks, for ages 8 to 11 years, fortnightly.
All week, except Fridays
Free hot drinks and biscuits from 10am to 3pm
Thursday
10.30am, Mindful Movement for adults, fortnightly
11am, Colouring Group for adults, fortnightly
(These Thursday morning activities are on alternate weeks.)
Saturday
Hub Board Gamers, all day board games for adults.

Visiting Drumbrae Library, you can

Music Instrument Library
In partnership with Tinderbox Orchestra, members of Drumbrae Library of all ages can borrow musical instruments for free, just like you borrow a book. We have a wide range of instruments including saxophones, trombones, clarinets, flutes, keyboards, accordions, guitars, ukuleles, violins and cellos.
All our instruments have been donated by our community. If you have an instrument gathering dust, please consider donating it to us.
