Why do we need accessible PDFs?
Following Government legislation, we have to make sure that all PDFs on our website are in an accessible format. This includes documents produced by companies that produce them for us.
It’s essential that you know how to create an accessible PDF so that we can continue to comply with our AA standard.
Does the PDF need to be a PDF?
Before you upload a PDF for publishing, ask yourself if it needs to be in this format. Could your document be made into a web page? Will the document be updated frequently?
